Never letting negative energy bring you down, embracing the Yin & the Yang There's a guitar on base (we are at Goddard College for now!) & the owner, who is an awesome volunteer from Brooklyn (?) and she told me some stories from her time volunteering in Turkey, how they spent days sometimes underneath tarps and in tents as it rained.. and she is cool enough to let me use it whenever ♡ It's my fourth day in my second program with All Hands and Hearts, and I set my intention every morning to be love, throughout this 6 day work week. Looking forward to August 24th, and going back to help out the program in Fort Myers, Florida, for their remainder weeks in Camp Caloosa. I'm really grateful for this time, missing my long hair. But, getting to know my spirit every day, as a kind and gentle being.. Oh my goodness. First night in the cabins of base camp in Cabot, Vermont... we are guests of this kids camp facility, just like in Camp Caloosa, in Fort Myers. Out in the forests and mountain hills, which are beautiful, I hear there are black bears.. The wind is chilly enough to surprise me for a summer night. But it's an exciting adventure, and I cannot wait to get to know the rest of the team tomorrow. I like to remember, that, if I look up long enough, and deeply enough, into a dark, starry night, then, I will see a falling star. In which case, I make a wish, just to let the words go, because I believe, that only wishes that are truly believed, are heard by the heart, & can come true.  It's so quiet out here... it let's me go deeper into, feeling detached from things of the mind, and letting go of the chattering thoughts, for pure feeling and wholeness.. it's weird, but it's like the cold air. It makes you feel a little sad, but happy and envigorated for life, at the same ti...
