South America Bound
Today marks one week before I make my way to Argentina through Guatemala, in an attempt to summit Central and South America's tallest peaks.
My goal for 14 Peaks for World Peace is to advocate for World Peace and environmental awareness in order to provide a world where quality of life is prioritized for everyone, equally, and basic resources are accessible to anyone, non-discriminatively.
I believe it is our right as an International community to achieve World Peace and to live in a world world where we and our children can prioritize the health of our planet and of ourselves.
Along with the 14 Peaks for World Peace project, where I will attempt to summit the world's tallest mountains, me and my team will be coordinating garden projects around the world to promote pollinator populations as well as tackling the issue of world hunger. By bringing awareness to food insecurity and how carbon emissions and plastic waste are affecting the world's natural populations of pollinators as well as accessibility to clean water and nutritious food, we hope to encourage the world governments to allow non-profit and non-government organizations to provide the necessary aid and resources in local communities to develop infrastructure that is supported by legislation to ensure a future where no child must live in clouds of carbon dioxide and by Rivers and Oceans layered with plastic.
I believe that the psychological well-being of all children is a right that we have as a global community to protect, and that includes the children suffering, genocide and political oppression in areas around the world like in Gaza.
Our mission is to be a voice for the people of the earth, by using an international platform in order to speak for environmental protection and the protection of our children through advocating for World Peace and bringing attention to these issues so that the world governments will consider passing legislation that will protect the people being most affected by these issues. As a non-profit organization, my goal is to use this project as an international platform for speaking on these issues and fundraising in order to make these projects happen.
A few projects include the bhagmati river cleanup in Kathmandu, as well as planting pollinator gardens, not only in remote areas and neighborhoods for anyone and everyone to enjoy around the world in its prestige state, but also for those families and world leaders to enjoy in their own personal gardens, while we advocate for peace and promote tranquility through the beautifying of our planet by providing edible gardens, food forests, and pollinator gardens.
Our team is proud to include our environmental coordinator and garden projects manager Nick Borde in this International effort, and we ask that you stay tuned and stay informed.
My attempts to summit the world's tallest mountains will be the highest platform that I can take in order to speak on these issues, which means that while I am trekking, I will follow a strict principle of leaving no Trace behind and even leaving the area better than how I found it by trekking as much trash as I can while I'm on the trail.
I believe that providing natural resources and recreational national parks for the people of local regions that it will help promote the psychological and physical well-being of people not only in the local communities, but all around the world. I believe that by doing this project, I will have a strong enough foundation to start two climbing centers in Guatemala and in Southeast Houston in order to encourage the growing community of youth to seek out sports and learn how to utilize the nationally protected areas around the world, not only for their personal enrichment, but for the development of our planet and mankind. I believe it is an innate desire and every single human being to protect the planet as well as to live in a world where there is no violence and conflict. I believe that we want World Peace as a global community and I am willing to do whatever it takes to speak for that voice. As we move into the next century, our third decade in the 21st century, I believe that we can make the changes necessary internationally in order to protect our planet and even begin the cleanup process so that in the next 50 years we can see a planet that is free of plastic waste and has the right process systems to protect the planet from over pollution and waste buildup. By working with local governments, we can encourage the legislation necessary to provide the infrastructure and resources for communities around the world that will protect the future generations from disease related to pollution and lack of resource.
As a hobbyist astronomer, I cannot wait to be high in our atmosphere, breathing in the fresh air and seeing the clear view of stars and meteorites in the night sky. I hope to continue my studies in biophysics so that I can work in Labs that will allow me to study the planet more closely as I love to do in the field, and continue on with my graduate studies and non-profit management, and develop projects around the world to help support existing charities that are already making a difference in the world's major issues.
As a health food professional, I hope to incorporate my passion for food service as well as environmental protection in order to provide charity fundraising for existing programs that are already tackling the world's major issue- world hunger and food insecurity.

Solo trekking is an opportunity for me to commune with nature and come close to my planet, while building a relationship with my inner self and realizing the dreams that I believe we have all had for many years, which is to protect our planet and provide an environment that is safe for all children around the world.
When I started this organization, EarthTreads International was a non-profit that was focused on fundraising for existing charities that were tackling the world's major issues that I was aware of. Now, as we are developing into a more successful project group, it is my hope that I can live up to the very first annual holiday fundraiser's slogan- be the change you wish to see, that is a dream for the 2020s. Every year since then, our mottos have been that Grand Initiatives can come to fruition Little-by-Little, Step-by-Step, and that we can make a difference, if we're willing to Walk the Talk. Well, this is me walking the talk, to the top of the world's tallest Peaks and I will shout it from the rooftop of the planet in the hopes that I can manifest this dream into a reality. (metaphorically, as environments will be unsafe to shout from, haha).
One person can make a difference, but together we can change the world.
Love,
